Humberto Castro Insignares is a Colombian saxophonist, arranger, music producer, musical director, sound engineer, and videographer whose career spans more than fifteen years of continuous artistic development across Latin music, jazz, and contemporary tropical fusion.

Known professionally as Humberto Castro, he began his musical journey under the guidance of his father, studying music theory and guitar before formally training in tenor saxophone at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Atlántico. His academic and artistic foundation was later strengthened in Bogotá, where he pursued studies in Sound Engineering while actively performing as a professional saxophonist.
